Waterfield Advisors is an independent, advisory-only multi-family office (founded 2011 by ex-banker Soumya Rajan) that is extending toward the NRI wallet through a GIFT City office and a dedicated 'Global Indians' segment offering strategic investment advisory for global Indian families investing into Indian markets (minimum investable assets above INR 5 crore). In February 2025 it raised $18 million led by Jungle Ventures, earmarked partly for tier-2/3 India expansion and 'key markets overseas catering to the Global Indians'. Why it matters

Waterfield raises $18M led by Jungle Ventures to expand, including to Global Indians
Waterfield secured an $18 million investment led by Jungle Ventures (a mix of primary and secondary, with a $15m primary infusion; EY was exclusive advisor). Founder and CEO Soumya Rajan said the raise would let the firm extend beyond business families to founders, professionals and women, expand into India's tier-2 and tier-3 cities, and reach 'key markets overseas catering to the Global Indians'.
